Palin spouse was member of secessionist party

advertisement

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's husband, Todd, twice registered as a member of the Alaskan Independence Party, a fierce states' rights group that wants to turn all federal lands in Alaska back to the state. Sarah Palin herself was never a member of the party, according to state officials.

Have you ever actually read the U.S. Constitution? Since you haven't, it's a document that gave the states far more power than the federal government. Good lord, it amazes me how little leftists know about the constitution.

Frankly, I believe the land in Alaska should belong to Alaskans not the federal government. In fact, history proves that communal ownership of property usually ends in disaster. One of America's greatest natural wonders is privately owned and has been since the days of Thomas Jefferson.

"WOULD NEVER VOTE FOR THAT COMMIE!!!"

LOL!

I love it! The liberals are loosing it. They don't know what to do? How could McCain pick a REAL woman with kids, and a reformer, strong pro-lifer, pro-gun, pro-family, 80% approval rating? The people that are whining about her are voting for Obama anyway. The liberal press will hang themselves with their attacks. If I didn't know anything else about her, just seeing the left's blatant sexism and hypocrisy would persuade me to vote for her and McCain.

jimmy451,
It appears that you seeded this article and failed to read it yourself. The introductory paragraph states, "Sarah Palin herself was never a member of the party, according to state officials.". Later in the story the article states, "Voter registration records show Sarah Palin registered in May 1982 as a member of the Republican Party and has not changed her affiliation.". This article conveys the exact opposite of your statement.

Have you ever heard of Tony Rezko? I am not defending illegal contributions but you might want to remember that they all stink, so pick a scoundrel but don't act like your party or person is sooooo good, there is plenty of bad news about all of them. You shouldn't remember the details on one and forget about the others problems. I am going to have to vote for a lifelong politician that has supped at the public trough most of their life, we have that in common.

It's about time somebody stopped pandering to the lunatic left and halted America's slide into the abyss of third world countries.
If the choice is Obama and the politics of tax 'em until they go out of business so this welfare momma can get her cigarettes and National Enquirer or a Bible toting mother of 5, I'm with the Bible.
Let's hear it for yellow journalism. The anonymous writer for the Associated Press buried the fact that Sarah Palin has been a Republican since 1984, her Alaska Independence Party never advocated secession although they are advocates for STATES' RIGHTS! Wasn't that what Thomas Jefferson was for??? I know. He owned slaves.
And the comment about Commie? The ACLU was founded by a communist and it's considered one of the most left wing organizations in the world. Please.

What I want to know is how this makes this party anti-American? I'm an independent that has a conservative point of view. To make a broad brush stroke and cover it I'll say this.

    1. Our Federal Government is way too large. They infringe on States Rights that are part of the constitution of this country. The progressive movement would have us all believe it's a living document that changes with the times and points of view. It was cautiously written and stands as is to prevent the fed from getting out of control. Which is where we are headed.

    2. The only hypocrisy (my that word is being throw around quite a bit lately) is the progressive movement trying to convince us that we need the federal government to take care of us and that we should change with the times and not dwell on history. If we forget our past and the checks and balances that were put in place we are all screwed.

    3. If you are wondering who the progressive movement is, it would be the current democrat party.

Jimmy - I highly resent your name calling. I carry my BIBLE and not only that I read it, and try to live as it instructs. There is no need to insult people to make a political point.
I agree this selection by McCain has to be from total ignorance of the facts surrounding her, but you attitude leaves much to be desired. I believe you can make the point regarding Ms. Palin without insulting me or any one else. Honey draws more flies than vinegar - perhaps you might do some thinking before you insult readers again?? I do NOT insult race, gender or religious belief for any one and I expect the same respect from others.

Obama is not a muslim, stop the blasphemy! I see all of those posters at the RNC that say "Country First" trumped by an approval speech from Bush and LIEberman. However, over the past 8 years under GW Bush look around you and you'll see that it's really been "Rich People First, Country Last."

There is a war on the middle class, unemployment rates rising, foreclosure crisis, bear market economy (weak dollar), health care cost out of control, OPEC (Bush's oil buddies) driving up fuel cost, foreign diplomacy biases, non-reformed immigration, etc...)

McCain is a war veteran and a foreign policy guru but that's it. He is mentally taxed, can't adapt or handle change: while he was a POW, his wife gets in a accident, and he disregards her like an old rag doll (research it!), and can't remember anything (even how many houses he has).

Palin has been Governor for 2 years? in Alaska? A place with the 4th smallest population in the US and not even connected to the mainland of the US. My source: () She has, 5 kids=lots of household responsibility, husband with some questionable alliances, and other scandals that are still inconclusive. She looks extremely attractive though, LOL.

I don't know what you McCain+Palin folks see, but WAKE UP! Stop thinking about your current status quo, and think about the future (your children, grandchildren, etc...). I simply can't deal with 4 more years of the same corruption and failure. After GW Bush America needs a major overhaul. America needs Change. America needs Barack Obama!

It was Buchanan that stated that she supported him. It's not the Obama camp's fault that McCain picked someone that was not vetted.

If everyone is in favor of giving back National land to the States then Nevada would like to be first in line. 80% of Nevada is Federal land. The first thing we'd do is close down Yucca Mountain and turn Area 51 into a tourist attraction.

And what else is Federal Land? Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone... Can you get the picture as to why some land is Federal??

But hey, to the GOP's credit they are now focused on the last section of the United States that wasn't destroyed by the Bush Administration.

Palin is the wrong choice she was a supporter of Buckhanon in 1996 and he is way out there, she is also being investigated for abuse of power, they say that her husband is the one who did the calling and he is also the one that is with some questionable alliance so I have a question if something happens to MC Cain is unable to run the country and she needs to take over than what happens, THAT SCARES THE SLOP OUT OF ME.

She courted this group and her HUSBAND was a member for 7 yrs!!!! Imagine if that was Michelle Obama???? You ask how could Obama associate himself with Rev Wright and anti-American Comments??? What now that shoe is on other foot it doesn't matter..Republicans are a bunch of HYPOCRITES!!!!!!

The founder of the Alaska Independence Party -- a group that has been courted over the years by Sarah Palin, and one her husband was a member of for roughly seven years -- once professed his "hatred for the American government" and cursed the American flag as a "damn flag."

The AIP founder, Joe Vogler, made the comments in 1991, in an interview that's now housed at the Oral History Program in the Rasmuson Library at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.

"The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government," Vogler said in the interview, in which he talked extensively about his desire for Alaskan secession, the key goal of the AIP.

I really get a laugh out of the Dems who are running around saying that Barack Obama is going to change this and change that. Come on people,, all he would have control in changing would be his underwear and socks. Any meaningful change has to involve Congress and with a Democratic controlled Congress for the past couple of years, you can see the change that's taken place. Under Nancy Pooluka, the Senate has come to a screeching halt and Congress is enjoying the lowest approval rating in US history.

If Obama had more experience, I would consider voting for him but with his length of time as a Senator (and NO, you can't include the two years he's been on the campaign trail), he has less experience than the most Junior Senator.

For those of you who are screaming because you think Big Mac is a continuation of the past eight years, look again and open your ears. You might find the differences to your liking or, you can keep your eyes and ears shut so you can stay in your little comfort zone.

What Big Mac and what's his name have in common are minimal. There are clear choices here and with a side by side comparison, Big Mac winds by a long shot.

I am tired of these references to Obama having ties with questionable people. This is what GOP does when they are grasping at straws. The more that comes out about Palin, the more her ties look questionable, too. Her husband was registered with this unpatriotic party, she was a long time member of a church that spoke of the Iraq war as a mission of God and said Kerry voters were going to hell. They have opened up this can themselves so they should be ready to answer questions about HER church, HER spouse's lack of love for our country, and McCain's involvement in the Keating Five. I hope this time around, Democrats don't sit back and let the right wage this "character" war and not push back just as hard. Sadly, this is what has turned off so many voters, but republicans won't let it be any other way because they can't win when it's a fair fight.

Apparently the motto of the Times,"All the news that's fit to print" has disappeared. Stories about her daughter's pregnancy, her husband's dwi, and his belonging to the Independence party have nothing to do with the qualifications of Gov. Palin. They are not running for the VP slot.

Getting McCain/Palin is going to be a dangerous pair. McCain wants war and she wants Alaska to suceed from the union. Great platforms. And I thought POW/911 was bad.

I'm sure she does want Alaska, and America, to succeed. I'm all for it.

I doubt she believes Alaska should secede, but I know from being born in Alaska, and growing up there, that many Alaskans simply want the federal government to leave them alone. The same could be said of a large number of in the western part of the lower 48. They don't understand why leftist environmentalists oppose drilling for oil in Alaska when doing so would make us less dependent on foreign oil and would create jobs in Alaska.

Palin line item vetoed state funding to support education to prevent teenage pregnancies. She is anti-contraception and believes in abstinence only education. This is the fruit of her beliefs, and should be in the public debate.

Now the issue of her daughter being brought into the public spotlight is Palins fault. She did not tell her family that she was being nominated until they arrived in Dayton OH. How irresponsible is that to not even consult with your own family before accepting such a nomination ?

Disgusting. Her judgement is the question and it deserves criticism.

Bristol Palin's pregnancy is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.

As for abstinence, it works if one follows through. In other words, abstinence is 100% effective, 100% of the time. I'm a moderate Democrat and I'm sick of hearing leftists declare that the government can solve every problem.

Of course, had Bristol Palin ran to the nearest abortion clinic to kill her unborn child you'd no doubt be applauding her choice.

Hey, Obama is running for the presidency and we need to know he isn't a closet Muslim. So, let's thoroughly investigate his past and since the leftist media hasn't done it for us we'll have to do it ourselves.

Personally, I care more that Barack Obama might be a closet Muslim (Muslims are permitted to LIE about their faith if it advances the cause of Islam) than I am about Sarah Palin's husband.

I believe her daughter should have been given access to the pill and also a talk about how a child can change your life at an early age, cause you are ot ready for everything that comes with having a baby.

Religious groups are fine but there does come a time when that's not all they need.Sex education in the school and in the home are the first step. I believe Palin was not there enough for her daughter not that she was not a good mother just that her daughter should have felt comfortable in asking her about sex and the pressures they are under now.

                      2. If the only thing you can tell your children is Abstinence, than you have lose the game already, Sex is everywhere in the cloths they wear and the movies they watch and even the video games they play, so Mom and Dad have got to be a team player with their children in the arts, and just to have a family day were everyone goes out together it does not have to be some were it will cost you an arm and a leg just were you can all visit and enjoy each others company.

Right. So since you have taken the "company you keep" argument away, you can no longer use it for Obama--if she can't be held to account for whom she MARRIED and conceived children with, then he can't be held to account for someone he met in a living room once.

I'm good with that. Now let's get down to the business of comparing her issuing of fishing licenses to his ability to raise record amounts of cash and the most. primary. votes. ever.

Let's do a year-by-year analysis of what they were doing from 1990 on. Get ready to be humiliated.

LOL! Well, the typical leftist retort when he/she can't add anything of substance. The fact is Robert Byrd used the N word and was a member of the Ku Klux Klan.

Your juvenile retort is so typical of leftists who, frankly, haven't done a thing for this country other than exhibit, for the rest of us, just how out of touch with reality the left is on all issues.

LOL! I love it! The more I read the more I truly wonder what they are actually teaching in elementary, secondary, and at the university level these days. It sure isn't history or at least American history or Civics, or is it because it offends people? Get over it! Grow up! Take it on the chin like a real American would. The Constitution and the bill of rights are the fabric that make up the way this country runs and legalizes issues. I suggest many of the left read it, but then perhaps there isn't enough comprehension to actually understand it!

This country is in for a mess if the socialists take over and that is exactly what the democratic party is emulating not democracy!

Hana32. The right that we lost under dumbo was the right to buy gas for a reasonable amount of money, the right to own a home, the right to not spend billions each day on a war that was trumped up by him and the "Evil One". I could go on and on--not to mention the rights of the hurricane Katrina victims that were lost with his less than pathetic handling of that situation. But I'm sure it's o.k. with you because maybe you are one of the lucky ones who have not been so tragically affected. Unfortunately there are millions upon millions who aren't so lucky....like the 4000+ dead soldiers and the many more who will never walk, talk, see again.

The right to buy gasoline never existed. Driving is a privilege, not a right.

We have an all volunteer military. No one forced them to join. I oppose this war, but I have great respect for those who serve. I have a question.

Can you define a time you can ever envision the left wanting to defend America?

When one joins the military, tours of duty are often extended. Just ask those who served in World War II.

Those serving in the military are free to leave their duties behind. However, there are consequences for that choice. Wait, sorry, I forgot how much leftists hate the words "consequences" and "responsibilities."

mcarey, also don't forget my right to own a Carrera GT.

If you'd bother to do a little looking you'll find that gas prices are so high because of increased demand around the globe. That's what happens when markets with over a billion people find their way into the 21st century. Of course artificial limits on supply (US coastal oil restrictions, ANWR) don't help so Bush, and every Senator and Congress person do shoulder some of the blame).

The housing crisis is a result of the same mentality as the Dot.Com crisis from years ago. People got greedy and left all reason behind to buy houses way out of their price range. Lenders, getting a lot of pressure to "help the poor" (primarily from liberals), lowered their standards and offered ridiculous loans to people who should have known better. Then surprise, the market slows (as it does every few years) and people are suddenly stuck with houses that they can't afford and since no one is buying, they can't even sell. The result: foreclosures.

As for Katrina, since a lot of the hype was media created to begin with (most reports of sniper fire, rape, murder etc.. were completely fictitious), and since under the Constitution the Federal governments has very limited control to do anything within a states borders without governor approval (which was extremely slow in coming and often never given - just ask the Red Cross) the problem on the ground was mostly a State issue. The response after the fact, once FEMA became involved (they actually were on the scene faster than after most hurricanes but since people like you don't seem to understand they were, up to that point, always considered a support agency and not a first responder agency that doesn't seem to matter) was what happens whenever large bureaucracies try to manage local matters. Add to that the fact La is considered one of the most corrupt states in the Union, where for every dollar spent 5 end up disappearing and you start to get the picture why everything in NO was so bad while in neighbouring states, while the affects were devastating, things were much better all 'round.

While every life lost is tragic, the death of 4000 service men and women is a remarkably low number considering their sacrifice managed to bring freedom to 50 million people living under oppressive dictatorships. And compared to almost any other war in history the current Iraq war has one of the lowest casualty rates.

You may want to ask the citizens of Iraq and Afghanistan what type of changes to their rights have happened under Bush's time in office.

                                                      The right to privacy.

GWB's wire tapping without a warrant. If you can't explain it to a judge showing probable cause, you shouldn't be doing it. It takes little time to see a judge and explain why this is necessary.

The required search warrant before entering a private premises.

No search warrant is required for law enforcement at any level to enter your home at anytime. Also eliminating the need to show probable cause to a judge. There has also been eliminated from this the required knocking on the door to announce their presence. They can legally break down your door at any time day or night. Try explaining this to your children when they scare them to death because they've gotten the address wrong. Or because your neighbor doesn't like you and has decided the best way to deal with you is to fabricate a lie about you to law enforcement. Or better yet when they shoot your husband and kill him when he's armed with a gun because he thinks that your home is being broken into.

Now you can add this to the mix. As of July 31 of this year, a bill has been proposed and put up for public comment, which effectively makes your state, local, and city law enforcement agencies part of the CIA, which does entitle them to keep you under surveillance to which they need also not show probable cause to a judge. Such a great idea, since they have all they can do to solve already committed crimes. Keep this in mind the next time you call 911 when you need the help of an officer.

Additionally law enforcement can now attach a GPS tracking device to your vehicle without a warrant and thus eliminating the need to show probable cause to a judge to do so. Not a problem? Imagine your car being stolen and it's being used in a crime to which you are unaware, such as child molestation or child kidnapping. You can and will be arrested and charged for something that you did not do, nor have any knowledge of.

I asked my recently retired brother why he retired after only 20 years on the force since he loved law enforcement so. He said to me, because he was tired of dealing with the bad guys. He wasn't talking about the criminal element either.

Now before you tell me that if you've done nothing wrong it isn't a problem, consider this, all those people who are now in prison for crimes that they did not commit. Do you really think that you want to be one of them?

I don't think anyone in the Obama camp really wants to make a big deal over Palin's church video or the Alaskan Independence Party. It could be really frustrating for them if the Replublicans start digging into Rev. Wright again, his Muslim roots, or his ties to terrorist. What a bombshell it would be if a video surfaced of Rev. Wright with Barrack or Michelle in the audience saying "Amen"! That would be priceless. Of course the media loves Obama and will always put their spin on it to soften the blow.

They milked Rev. Wright as long as they could. Palin's crazy God talk is new grist for the mill .....and even more frightening. I doubt that God wants us destroying another country and the innocent people who live there or do you think that "all those people" are the same like other bigots do?

Perhaps you should take up this with the Islamic terrorists who use civilians as human shields or who set up their terrorist operations in residential neighborhoods.

They perpetuate a system that keeps them in power and only address the issues they deem necessary to secure their reelection every 2 to 6 years. Their mindless lackeys support them and tout the merits of one party over the other while all the time they are more alike than either would like to admit because they all lust for power, if you think any of them care about the regular people who work every day and pay the freight you must also believe in Santa Claus.

Strange how the borders are no more secure now than they ever have been before. Strange how there have been minimal arrests of terrorists in this country. Your statement that Washington can't solve problems and you have no faith in the politicians that call Washington home, is a blatant lie.

If we want to look at a DUI from 1986, and which presidential candidate someone supported in 1996, then surely we should look at who Obama has been doing business with over the last 20 years, shouldn't we? And if that's the case, don't you think we would want to look into his associations with his terrorist friend, his preacher friend, his real estate friend and other business friends, people who he had close contact with, people who he supported and people who we know for a fact have certain views? Why is it that these issues are 'off limits' or 'are no issue' if the 'non-bias' media feels it important to report on a DUI from Palen's husband? I have no problem with reporting on the candidates, but the fact that Obama gets a free ride, and everyone else goes through the grill, it's really getting disgusting...

Let's dig into Obama's past and learn whether he is, indeed, a closet Muslim. You are aware, I assume, that the Koran permits Muslims to LIE about their faith if doing so advances the cause (world domination) of Islam. For 2000 years, Christians have been murdered simply because they refused to deny their faith; however, Muslims can LIE and deny they're Muslims for the sake of advancing the cause.

Let's dig into Obama's business dealings, let's closely examine his relationship with Bill Ayers, and let's examine how and why his wife's employer suddenly received an infusion of state funds once Obama joined the Illinois legislator.

No, I don't believe the media has delved into any of these issues.

They claim they are for equal rights, but they are liars. They claim they are for minorities, but they will viciously attack them if they are not lefties (Clarence Thomas, Condi Rice). The same goes for women who are not bra-burning, men-hating feminists. They claim they want to help those who cannot help themselves, yet they protect and condone the murder of millions of innocent, helpless people. They claim they want to give to the poor, but it has been proven that the dem's welfare programs keep people poor, reward laziness, and produce an increased crime rate.

I was also referring to how the cities were ran, not by the income of their individual citizens.

But it is funny you should mention SD. I was born and raised in SD, I've been to some of the county's that you listed, and you're right, they are in poor areas, but also their main source of income is Agriculture, not a very lucrative trade unless your a big corporate farm/ranch, government handouts, and then farm subsidies which for the most regulates how much you can grow, what you can sell it for, and gives you money to offset the cost of growing your food.

                                                                                              {"commentId":2717520,"threadId":"347130","contentId":"1820016","authorDomain":"nkj1983"}

Since 1843 to 1865 Democrats. from 1877 to 1980 Democrat, one year of Republican, then 1984 to 1996 Democrat, and 1996 to 2004 Republican, and then the Great Blanco administration (which actually was merely a babysitting job for her), and now Bobby Jindel. Check your history before making assumptions just Republicans ruin the system. Both ruin many systems, it's the quality of character, and the ability to stay out of the good ole boy system that makes someone a reformer and a change maker. Louisiana also has the French Rule which governs it's Parishes, which is unlike any other state.

Still amazed at the climate that exists in education these days and the incessant ability to point fingers and jam up blogs with rhetoric that is bull and equates to quantitative ignorance. Keep it up! America is in grave trouble due to lack of mandatory education, and the continuation of generational welfare with no accountability!

Palin "DID NOT" belong to the AIP, her husband did. As for the other comments listed on this board, She did not get the DWI, her husband did, and looking at it through the other end of the glass, Mrs. Obama did not do cocaine her HUSBAND did. It was clearly stated that she did not support Buchanan but showed him the common courtesy and respect a Candidate should be shown, something the left has never really gotten a good grasp on, courtesy and respect that is. Also, as for the 100 years war comment, it was intended to be similar to the stationing of troops in S. Korea, but once again leftest bloggers with a computer and little education decided that it must mean that we are going to bomb the heck out of the country for another 100 years. If Palin was anything like Obama she would have had her daughter get an abortion (paid for by the government of course), or have her have the child, not get married to the father of the child, and expect the government to give her handouts for the rest of her and the child's life. Obama's idea of a new America isn't a great and wonderful society, it's a society of people that do not have to do anything for themselves and expect the government to pick up the check.

This a gigantic political smear campaign which the media has gleefully kept rolling. It is pathetic but shows how frightened the Dems are of Palin. They can't argue the facts so they want to discredit her. Desperately petty and cruel, no one is safe. NSJFP - Everyone who cares should visit the site http://www.akip.org and draw their own conclusion after looking around the site. Their relatively benign platform notwithstanding, an objective read would conclude that the organization wants a vote on whether Alaska should 1) remain a territory 2) become a separate nation 3) accept commonwealth status or 4) become a state. The FAQ section touts the benefits of "independence", a term that the organization distinguishes from "secession" though I have personally not concluded whether the difference is substantive or semantic. Interestingly, the site does quote Jefferson Davis, the first and only President of the Confederate States of America, who took office shortly after South Carolina and Mississippi seceded from the Union.

Joe Vogel, the late founder of the organization, provides a long treatise basically asserting that the establishment of Alaska as a state was invalid because people were not provided with the range of options presented above. Even though the United States bought the territory from the Russian Empire in 1867, Vogel asserts the need for such a vote based on Article 73, Chapter 11 of the United Nations charter (ironic in that most conservatives despise the United Nations).

Regardless of what their platform states, there is enough on the website to conclude that this organization is in favor of secession. They don't call it that because they don't view the statehood of Alaska to be valid in the first place. I see a lot of people on this board attempting to obfuscate the reality of this organization's goals with the name calling and bluster that is the stock-in-trade of the tragically uninformed. Contrary to the assertions of AIP leadership, perhaps Governor Palin has not been a registered member of this organization, but she has been a supporter of an organization that questions the authority of the very body she intends to lead.

I looked at the site. I saw the choices AIP wants Alaska to be able to have and I also read the platform and goals (which were also posted above somewhere) that state very clearly that the US Constitution will be complied with fully.

Isn't every state supposed to have the choice to be in the Union or not? This is after all supposed to be a government for the people, by the people. The choice should be ours. And as long as the US Constitution is in effect, there should be no reason to make any other choice than sticking with the USA.

Additional note - 3 of the 4 choices that the AIP wants Alaska to have are choices that would keep them with the USA.

Bottom Line - some in the AIP may be secessionist (those that want that other 1 of the 4 choices) but most are not, the organization itself is not according to its platform and goals. The Palins are NOT secessionist.

They simply try to couch it based on their view that their establishment as a state was invalid based on an alleged violation of a United Nations provision. They call for repatriation of federal lands, lands bought from the Russian Empire in 1867. It is clear which of the four choices they wish voters would pick if it came to that. Most of the answers in their FAQ section are written to support secession. The site quotes the president of the confederacy, which in fact, did secede. Their founder said he was Alaskan, not American. He circulated a petition calling for secession. Governor Hickell was elected as a member of the AIP, but they attempted to recall him when he would not agree to push for secession. Palin's husband was a member during this time and AIP members confirmed that Palin attended their 1994 convention and as governor addressed their convention this year. The record is clear.

But it is funny that liberals believe in free sex for everyone, contraception (not 100% effective when used 100% correctly 100% of the time) instead of abstinence (is 100% effective when used 100% correctly 100% of the time), and shout it from the rooftops, and then they want to say that Palin is the one who failed because her daughter listened to her groin instead of her mother. How many of you liberals haven't done the same thing.

Yes, Palin's daughter made a mistake, how many of us haven't? But Palin isn't ignoring it, and she isn't going to insist that she have an abortion. We have a strong, viable female candidate for VP (remember Geraldine Ferraro? lol) and the liberals can't stand it. They just can't stand it.

Whatever. It is the old trick of saying not to say something, but by saying that, it gets said. Do you get what I am saying?

His worshippers in the media are doing all the dirty work for him. It nearly took DNA evidence to report John Edwards cheating on his wife with cancer, but the media will ask a magic 8 ball about a conservative and run it as truth.

It would be nice if the Repubs would get back on point or rather finally get to the point. The pregnant daughter diversion has lasted long enough. Palin is an absent mother who doesn't even know what a VP does (see the video) so the issue is not the daughter but the credentials of Miss Mosse of 1984 to be in the race AT ALL
